Challenge:
The aim of this project was to offer a new perspective on Mexican Food. Mexican cuisine, specifically Oaxacan Cuisine presented a distinctive challenge, considering its relative unfamiliarity. My idea was to create a balance between cultural and modern design trends.
Completed:
The process involved carefully selecting a combination vibrant colors and exploring different typeface combinations, taking inspiration from Mexican sign painting artist and bright colonial buildings. Fusing these two elements while prioritizing design hierarchy created a dynamic visual identity that captures Barro's essence. The aim is to appeal to a wide range of audience showcasing elevated Oaxacan cuisine in a trendy and cultural manner.
